XML is designed for readable by both human and machine. Theoretically, that's correct. Comparing with other formats, XML is much better for both human and machine. But readable does not mean easy to read. That's why FeedBurner uses following format for RSS feeds of this blog:

When blog was not so popular, I used to read Sean McGrath frequently. Interestingly, my attention to him is diluted with the popular of blogs. Certainly he continuousely writes great articles, including this "Master Foo's Taxation Theory of Microformats"
